Jarvis Developers have recently completed this community centre build for ‘Scouts 8th Chelmsford’. From conception, a full design team was implemented in the design of the building, including architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical engineers, building control, highways, local authorities and statutory utility providers. The main design features of this community building are a large span roof with architectural glazing, a high vaulted ceiling to cater for events and indoor games, 18 remotely-controlled Velux roof lights, a glazed viewing area in the main hall, an internal platform lift and remote entry systems.
